Sara has been part of the Opus Music School team since 2019. She assists in customer service aspects of the school, such as assisting customers, scheduling, and invoicing. Prior to working at Opus, Sara worked as a manager at Peek-a-Boo Factory, an indoor playground/party space. She handled most of the day-to-day operations, as well interacting with children during parties, drop-offs, and summer camps.
Sara enjoys music and performed in her high school’s rendition of West Side Story as Graziella. She also enjoys teaching her daughter the importance of music and creative expression by playing the xylophone and singing with her. She is excited to pursue more musical knowledge while working at Opus Music School.
Sara and her family are residents of Hacienda Heights. Sara enjoys bringing her daughter to Los Robles Park to splash in the water when it is hot. Some of her other hobbies include crafting, drawing, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
Camille is the newest member of the Opus Music School staff where she works as a receptionist. She is very excited to be working at Opus part of a team dedicated to enriching students' lives through music.
Music has always played a big part in Camille’s life. She studied the cello in school for 7 years and even got to play in Carnegie Hall with her arts high school when she was only 15! She was also a member of the pit orchestra providing the soundtrack for her high school’s production of the musical ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’.
When Camille isn’t at Opus she can be found reading, cooking new vegan recipes or spending time at home with her boyfriend and her dog Honey!
Theresa Cheng is the Founder and Owner of Opus Music School. She is a musician at heart but also has a business background. In 5 years, she has grown the school to over 300 students and a staff of 20. Prior to starting Opus Music School, she worked as a finance consultant at Big 4 accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in downtown Los Angeles.
She worked 8 years in finance and as a CPA prior to starting Opus Music School in 2014. Mrs. Theresa grew up in Hacienda Heights and brings a true passion to music teaching and her goal is to share the joys of music with as many people in the community as possible. She is also the mother of a boy, who she thinks will be a future Opus Music School student!
Mrs. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business-Economics from UCLA and a Master of Arts degree in Piano Pedagogy from Cal State Fullerton. She enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, playing with cars and trucks with her son, and taking her weekly piyo workout class.
