Josh Howard

Josh, originally from Tennessee, has been playing music professionally for 18 years. He started touring in his teens which was also when he began his journey as a teacher. Josh has a passion for music in general and is familiar with many styles such as Jazz, Gospel, CCM, Rock, Hip Hop, Electronic, Country, Western and Pop.

Josh has studied a large variety of instruments including Drums, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Upright and Electric Bass. He has studied each instrument for over 10 years. He received a degree in Music Business in 2011 with an emphasis in Upright and Electric Bass. He also minored in Jazz performance and Religion.

Josh began playing bass in church as soon as he started at 15. He then began studying and playing jazz when he was 16. While in college he played many gigs and began touring in the styles of Jazz, Pop/Rock, Country and Gospel. Coming out of school Josh was a full-time gigging and traveling musician playing mostly Americana, Jazz, Gospel and Country.
