Ms. Sarabeth Belon is a voice and piano instructor originally from San Diego. She was formerly a voice and piano teacher at U.S. Music Lessons in San Diego where she taught private and group music lessons. She currently also is a piano teacher at the Salvation Army.
Ms. Sarabeth graduated from UCLA in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance. She spent her four years at UCLA singing in all their operas and has premiered many works by her fellow composer colleagues. She is a mezzo-Soprano who showcased her start in her opera singing career as Rebecca Nurse in The Crucible, then at San Diego Opera in Maria de Buenos Aires and Turandot. She took part in the Miami Music Festival in Ariadne auf Naxos and Partenope. She will be in Le Nozze di Figaro with Center Stage Opera and in Carmen in San Diego Opera.
Her most recent awards include the Encouragement Award from the Met Opera National Council District Auditions and Honorable Mention at the La Jolla Young Artist Vocal Competition.
While she focuses on classical voice and opera, she teaches all styles of singing and incorporates technique such as sight signing, ear training, breath control, diction, and acting in her lessons.
