Ms. Sharon was born in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to California at the age of 5. She began taking piano lessons at the age of 8. Ms. Sharon continued to pursue her passion of music and graduated from Azusa Pacific University in May 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in music education with an emphasis in piano and voice. After receiving her degree she began teaching piano and voice lessons at Yamaha music school for more than 6 years and has transitioned into home teaching, which allowed her to spend more time with family. Since then she has also received her Multiple Subject teaching credential in 2010, which allows her to teach students from kindergarten to eighth grade. Ms. Sharon has worked at Gymboree Play and Music for over 10 years. She continues to teach music, play, art and preschool classes there.
Ms. Sharon has been performing since elementary school. She has performed all around the world but the most memorable would be visiting Oahu, Hawaii with her high school choir and singing at Pearl Harbor. Ms. Sharon continues to advance her skills weekly by singing and playing piano for her church’s worship team.
Ms. Sharon's has over 11 years of teaching experience. Her teaching method has developed throughout the years, making her a great teacher for all ages. Her motto is to learn while having fun. Her goal is to share her love of music with those around her.
