A Note from the Founder
Thank you for your continued support and loyalty. We passed 300 students and as of the date of this newsletter we are at 328 students.
Seth (drum student) and Scarlett (piano student) are our 300th and 301st students. They received $300 worth of music lessons and all our students that day got to enjoy Krispy Kreme donuts.
Just 6 years ago, I started Opus Music School because there was no music school or place for residents to take music lessons in the city where I grew up. I quit my corporate job at a Big 4 accounting firm in Downtown LA and came back to my hometown of Hacienda Heights to start teaching music lessons. Our first recital in 2014 took place in a small church with 2 music teachers. 5.5 years later, our recital this past Sunday had a staff of 20 and a level of professionalism that blew me away.
Thank you for making us the largest music school in Hacienda Heights. I'm grateful for the Opus family on this journey with me and my team as we execute a vision to not just be a music school, but a unique and positive environment to learn music and have fun. I don't know yet where we will be in another 5 years but I hope you will continue to join us on this exciting adventure. Thank you for your support, truly.
