Theresa Cheng, MA, CPA


Theresa Cheng has extensive experience teaching piano to children and adults. She teaches beginners, intermediate, and advanced piano students of all ages, and specializes in piano pedagogy for children.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business-Economics from UCLA and a Master of Arts degree in Piano Pedagogy from Cal State Fullerton.  Mrs. Theresa is also a licensed CPA (inactive) and prior to starting Opus Music School was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the Valuation Transaction Services practice in downtown Los Angeles.  Mrs. Theresa grew up in Hacienda Heights and brings a true passion to music teaching and her goal is to share the joys of music with as many people in the community as possible, which led her to form Opus Music School in 2012.  She is also the mother of a toddler boy, who she thinks will be a future Opus Music School student!
